DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our festive Annual AMA NEO Charity Happy Hour on Thursday\, Dec. 12th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This year’s worthy charity also fulfills several of our cultural values: serving local needs\, facilitating diversity and inclusion\, and supporting our board members and chapter members. Our charity this year is the Eliza Bryant Village. \nThe Facts: \n\nDate: December 12\, 2019\nTime: 5:30-7:30 p.m.\nCost: Members and Non-members $25\nLocation: Deagan’s Lakewood\nPublic parking in back – please read meter instructions. Back entrance by First Federal drive-thru.\nHeavy appetizers and your first glass of wine or beer included.\nFestive attire (ugly sweaters) are VERY welcome!\nWant to DONATE to raffle & get partner mention? Email Kasey!\n\nEliza Bryant Village is the oldest-operating African-American founded long-term care facility in the country\, founded by an African American woman more than 123 years ago. \nAs a community of care for aging adults\, Eliza Bryant Village has a nursing home\, adult daycare\, a dialysis center and independent housing for seniors. All of these programs are targeted for low-income older adults. To fulfill the mission of the founder\, EBV does not turn away those on Medicaid and therefore\, provides more than $1 million in charity care each year. \nThis December EBV is launching an innovative Elder Justice Center. The first of its kind in Ohio\, they are currently under construction to renovate skilled nursing rooms into private suites to offer respite and access to social services for older adults currently being abused. \nPlease join AMA NEO during this season of giving to help raise funds for Eliza Bryant Village and the seniors they serve here in Cleveland! \nTo raise money\, we will be having a Chinese raffle at the Holiday Happy Hour\, as well as a 50/50 raffle. Please come with extra cash to participate! If you would like to donate something to the raffle (have some good company swag to create a basket?
