SUMMARY:January Nonprofit SIG - How to Become a Fundraising Superstar
DESCRIPTION:Finding donors\, major gifts and corporate sponsors in the nonprofit world has become ultra competitive. In part\, it’s because the number of nonprofits continues to grow every year. If you work in development or are an executive director in charge of this area\, you know how challenging it can be. \nFor over a decade\, Robert Koonce has navigated these waters with several of Northeast Ohio’s leading nonprofit organizations including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland (where he’s currently the Chief Development Officer)\, Cleveland Museum of Natural History and University Hospitals. He’s become an expert at researching\, strategizing and implementing fundraising campaigns. \nRobert will share his insights on planned giving\, organizing special events\, working with boards\, finding new donors\, avoiding donor fatigue and more. Robert is a dynamic speaker who engages his audiences and gets them to take an active role in discussions. If you are looking for some fresh fundraising tips\, ideas and inspirations\, be sure to attend. \nNonprofit Special Interest Group (SIG)\nFree to Members\, Non-Members $10\n7:45 AM Check-in and Networking\n8:00 AM Program \nCoffee\, juice\, bagels provided! \nAbout the Speaker \nRobert Koonce is the Chief Development Officer at the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland\, and a member of the senior management team leading fundraising\, marketing\, communications\, and volunteer efforts.
