May Nonprofit SIG: Digital Marketing for Nonprofits
May 24 @ 7:45 am - 9:00 amFree - $10
Great Lakes Science Center (GLSC) is one of Northeast Ohio’s most cherished educational and entertainment destinations. Visitors explore hundreds of cool, hands-on exhibits that make science, technology, engineering and math come alive for people of all ages.
Now, for one special morning, members and friends of AMA Northeast Ohio can see why GLSC marketing works by exploring:
- how to market to diverse consumer groups
- using social media to engage your audience
- techniques for attracting millennials
Jacquie Chakirelis will demonstrate how nonprofits can use digital marketing to generate interest and ticket sales. The GLSC audience is comprised of school-aged children and their parents, millennials, GLSC members and thousands of tourists who visit Cleveland every year. Her extensive background in digital marketing helps her to effectively reach this diverse group. Just like GLSC, most nonprofits have several constituencies they must appeal. Jacquie will share her ideas on how to engage with multiple audiences and get them involved with your organization at all levels.
