NONPROFIT SIG: Building Your Reputation. The Importance of Branding Your Nonprofit.

September 20, 2018 @ 7:45 am - 9:00 am

Free – $10

“A world where everyone has a decent place to live.” That’s the vision of Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. For over 30 years they’ve been helping families achieve stability, self-reliance and strength through affordable home ownership.

Habitat for HumanityOver the past year they rehabbed or started 28 homes and competed 111 home spruce up projects throughout Cleveland neighborhoods. None of this work would have been possible without the help of 2,771 volunteers who donated 81,968 hours of assistance. Finding thousands of volunteers, encouraging donations both (monetary and building materials) and nurturing corporate sponsors requires a highly organized and structured marketing communications plan.

During this SIG, Blake Johnston, Marketing & Communications Manager at Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, will share how he’s able to coordinate his marketing, branding and communications efforts to achieve optimal success.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The importance of branding your nonprofit
  • Coordinating your messages across multiple channels
  • How to recruit volunteers and keep them motivated
